Skype SmileStation
The Goal
To support a new new partnership with Skype + Toshiba, both brands needed an activation that showcased Skype, on Toshiba tablets to Holiday shoppers, so the Skype SmileStation was born.
The End Result
The interactive installation was situated outside of the Flatiron building in New York City, featuring a screen encased in 6 foot wide Toshiba tablet, which broadcasted a live Skype chat between passersby and our team of comedians in Skype London. A few lucky winners were chosen to win a free Toshiba Encore tablet. The experience won an Award at the 6th Annual Shorty Awards, got millions of people talking on social, and was the first successful experiential activation to feature Skype and Toshiba products.
